Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) undergo 4 years of post-graduate medical education. NDs within Manitoba are regulated by the Manitoba Naturopathic Association to ensure competent standards of practice and safety to our community.

Dr. Jasmine provides a comprehensive and thorough assessment of your whole health to support you throughout the different phases of your life. Complete with physical exams, identifying personal risk factors, bloodwork tracking, symptom tracking, progress reports, and personalized strategies, she aims to help you optimize your health and implement preventative measures to keep you feeling your best long-term.

HEALTH ASSESSMENT & PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE

Dr. Jasmine will always review your bloodwork with you to ensure your levels are optimal. She additionally has access to comprehensive testing and diagnostic tools to assess your health on a deeper level, providing valuable insights into how your body is functioning. With thorough analysis and personalized recommendations, she aims to uncover underlying imbalances/dysfunction and empowers you to make informed decisions for your health and well-being.

BLOODWORK & COMPREHENSIVE TESTING

Dietary Adjustments and Clinical Nutrition are one of many tools used to improve your health. Dietary adjustments may include individualized recommendations on things like fibre, water intake, protein, and experimental eliminations to assess the impact on your health. Clinical Nutrition focuses on optimizing nutritional status, and recommending particular foods/nutrients for treatment purposes, as indicated by research, to improve health outcomes for specific conditions. Dr. Jasmine aims to make dietary adjustments as easy as possible by providing resources and meal plans to help move your health in the right direction.

DIETARY ADJUSTMENTS & CLINICAL NUTRITION

Lifestyle, Environmental Assessments & Habit Adjustments focus on reviewing the choices you make in your day-to-day life and the environment you’re exposed to, which impact your overall health and well-being. From morning routines, stress management tools, exercise/movement, allergens, home hygiene, and habit adjustments/tools, this is an area where we can make a lot of impact without the need for pills. Recommendations are always personalized and Dr. Jasmine aims to provide practical strategies to empower you to make positive changes in your health long-term.

LIFESTYLE, ENVIRONMENT & HABIT ADJUSTMENTS

Dr. Jasmine has additional certifications to practice IV Nutrient Therapy within Manitoba. All IV bags are individualized and compounded at the time of your appointment, based on your needs and health goals. This treatment delivers vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants through intravenous therapy, promoting rapid absorption and maximum effectiveness.

IV NUTRIENT
THERAPY

Injection Therapy delivers high-dose vitamins, like B12 and Vitamin D, through intramuscular injections (eg. injected into the bicep muscle). This treatment is prescribed individually when needed, based on bloodwork, and can be helpful for those who struggle to absorb these vitamins through the digestive tract or those who are severely deficient

INJECTIONS

Dr. Jasmine recommends supplements and natural health products based on your individual needs and health goals. She views supplements as a tool to get you to where you want to be and rarely recommends that supplements long-term unless you have chronic conditions that require ongoing support. She aims to teach you various dietary and lifestyle habits that can help you maintain your health long-term, without needing pills, when possible.

SUPPLEMENTS

Botanical Medicine is the use of plants and herbal extracts to help you achieve your health goals. Similarly to Supplements, Dr. Jasmine aims to use Botanical Medicine as a tool to support your body, using evidence-based research for specific conditions. Botanical medicine is a natural treatment adjunct for many health concerns that is general safe to take, with minimal side effects, when the prescription is personalized for you, at a therapeutic dose.

BOTANICAL
MEDICINE

Dr. Jasmine is licensed to practice acupuncture from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. This is a whole-body treatment focused on rebalancing the flow of energy (Qi) within the body. Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide variety of symptoms and support health in a holistic and individualized way.

ACUPUNCTURE

Mindfulness & Reflection encourages presence and self-awareness. With these two tools, you can work through almost any obstacle, implement change for improved health and well-being, and understand your body on a whole new level. Through tailored practices and understanding your needs, Dr. Jasmine aims to provide simple, helpful, and effective resources to increase resiliency and self-understanding.

MINDFULNESS & REFLECTION

Homeopathic Medicine is an energetic medicine that encourages the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Dr. Jasmine uses Homeopathy in conjuncture with other treatment methods to rebalance the body, support mental health, and provide a holistic solution to help you move through symptoms or emotions that feel stuck or challenging to overcome. Homeopathy can additionally be used in children to gently support symptoms, as an alternative to supplements when interactions with your medications are limiting prescription, or when pills are not your preferred form of treatment.

HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINE

Cupping therapy is an adjunctive treatment that can be used to support healing and relaxation. Suction cups are applied to specific areas to promote circulation, release fascial and muscle tension, improve range of motion, and encourage relaxation. Contrary to popular belief, bruising is not always required to achieve these results but can be used based on patient preference.

During your Initial Assessment, you can expect a thorough review of your health concerns, any relevant physical exams, and a review of your previous bloodwork. You’ll receive personalized education about your current state of health, strategies to monitor progress, potential underlying conditions, along recommendations for further testing. You’ll also be provided with a Personalized Foundations Treatment Plan, to get you started & feeling better!

Once we have the results (experimental or laboratory), we’ll spend time reviewing how the first steps have impacted your symptoms, answer any questions you may have about the diagnosis and treatment protocols, and finalize a Treatment Strategy that works for your energy levels, time availability, and budget.
